my eldest "baby" will turn 5 tomorrow...WHAT?! When did this happen? A little bittersweet really.
I love this little girl so much and she has grown into such a wonderful little thing. So I wanted to make her something fun to wear tomorrow ALL DAY :)
I saw this from somewhere, and I have no idea where from my journeyings through hundreds of blogs. So if you know, let me know!
But here's the breakdown:
1-grab some scrap fabric, like 4 strips of it, about 1-2 inches wide.
2- do basting stitches down all 4 strips and then gather, ruffle, and bunch :)
3- find a shirt. This one had some stains that I wanted to cover :)
4- place 1 strip across for the top of the "5"I love this little girl so much and she has grown into such a wonderful little thing. So I wanted to make her something fun to wear tomorrow ALL DAY :)

6- place the last two strips as the curvy part of the "5". Place pins where needed.
7- take your sewing machine and sew it down. And your done!
Happy Birthday Sweetie :)
