Is this acceptable to you?

So to conclude with the other post about the taggie blanket order, I finally got them posted. But it doesn't have a happy ending. Ok so I got them made, shipped them out and then yesterday morning, got an email from the lady saying "I got your taggie blankets. They are not acceptable and I can't sell them in my store. I want a refund."

She went ahead and made a dispute through Paypal and so what could I do? I hadn't set any clear rules at the beginning regarding returns and such so I had to comply. But she stated in her dispute that the material used was not what she expected. They are pretty but not worth $200. So she's sending them back today and i'll have a huge storage of taggie blankets on hand, I guess. I'll just sell them on my blog shop, but STILL!, a week's worth of effort down the drain because it wasn't what she expected. What did she expect?! The pictures I had posted of the taggie blankets look just like the ones I sent. So I think from this, I am not sure if I even want to deal with wholesale! Drama Drama Drama!!

Anyways, let me know what you think, if they are acceptable or not...

Not the end of this blog.  Yes, i'm aware of the lack of participants this blog is experiencing right now.  I haven't given lots of effort into it since the blog shop opened.  But as months go by, I get more anxious and panic attacks about the shop.  I don't know if I can handle juggling that and family life.  I hate having to neglect children or housework to sew something together.  Before, I was up for the challenge of making and selling nursing covers but honestly, the thought gives me even more butterflies!  I just have to be honest with myself.  I can not juggle things I'd like to make and being a mom and homemaker.  I've tried it and looking back, I was in constant stress and worry all the time.  I have realized that I like to make and create things not under a time contraint.  I like to make things when I like to make them.  So I think i'm out....okay, let me re-phrase that.  I am out!

I have tons of things that I need to work on and do at home and with my girls.  And personally, I feel that that is much more important than making a few bucks on the side, right?  I honestly feel so much better about this decision.  But this is just me.  Honestly, more power to those who can do it all.  But I'm just not one of them.  So hopefully with that said, i'll have many new things on this...but let's not hold our breath anytime soon :)

Twilight and Craft Fair!!

Well I am SO obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. LOVE IT. So i'm really excited in a couple of weeks. Both my sister, Katie and BFF Jaime are coming down for the weekend and a Twilight party has been planned :) I am so excited... But wanted to show you the invitation to the party. I was so excited to make this little number. It's seriously my pride and joy!
I won't show you the inside bbecause, well, the party hasn't happened and I don't want strangers showing on since, you know, it's going to be Edwardibly fantastic!!

And yesterday, we had our first Craft Fair!! We headed up to Bulverde, TX to a local carnival an elementary school was having. I think it turned out great and it was a awesome way to spread the word!

Craft Fair

So this Saturday, we are doing a craft fair in Bulverde!!  We are all so excited and hope this will get the word more out there about our shop.  I've been busy making tons of taggie blankets and burp cloths and hope they do well!  Pics will be up soon with us in action.  So yet again, this stuff keeps me busy, even busy enough to not post!  

New Stuff at the Shop!

Just wanted to let y'all know that there is a new set of burp cloths at the Shop. To match the "Tyler" Cutesy Wipee Case, I made this cute little set for your little fire fighter!

We're also getting some new products soon, including Nursing covers, Wall decor for nurseries and more new styles of Cutesy Wipee Cases. We're also going to be re-inventing our blogshop and giving it a new look so stay tuned for that!
Also if any of you have any cute ideas for any more new products for our shop, let me know! We're always looking for new, adorable things to add!

Nice update

So for those of you who read this still, I've been busy with the shop. I am surprised how nice the amount of orders i've had. It's been great. But I was able to make a card for a baby shower this past week. I have also been out of town for this past week since it was Joe's spring break so I was able to make a few taggie blankets. Here's the card!

I hate that I don't have enough time to do what I'm doing plus doing some scrapbooking too. That's something that I always like to do but that's the thing that always takes the back seat when I get busy! So here's some pics of a burp cloth set I made and our new business cards that I designed. I ended up using them as a tag as well since they don't take any effort to make..just printing!

THis last one I made for my daughter's first birthday party invitation. We had a triple 1st Birthday and it was so much fun...but I love this card!
