Here's what I did this week:

Saturday, I went to a friend's son's 1st birthday party.  I had these "1's" cut out from my daughter's 1st birthday party so i thought it would be cute to use as a card.  I stapled ribbons and then  used a white gel pen to write a note.  I then tied it to her present.  I thought it was something fun & different!

Since I was actually able to take family pictures this year, I have been looking around for some Christmas Cards to send out!

Brown & Pink Polka Dot Shower

A few friends and I threw a shower for our neighbor and it turned out really great! You can't go wrong with brown and pink.

We cut out TONS of circles and as you can tell, put them everywhere. It turned out really cute.

I lvoe holiday cards! I made these for my sister for her Christmas party invitations. She chose the second. Don't worry, I redid the writing and typed in "come deck the halls" in cute font! And I love the PP in the first card!

You're probably thinking...huh i'm seeing double! Well this card is a replica of the one in a few posts back. I did it with different PP and such...but still a winner!

Holiday Cards

HOlidays are upon us!!

Cards are pretty fun to make.

small things here and there...

One of my good friends is having a boy so I made her this card for her shower. They are naming him Jackson :)

I thought this would be cute, nice and simple on my door for any trick or treaters out there...but most likely, we won't get any because we live in an apartment, on the third floor...exactly!

Some more vinyl goodness. I was given this plate as a gift and I thought it looked pretty spooky, with the white smoky look. I thought it turned out fun!

I found a cord, wahoo! I'm still in UT on "vacation" but I was able to find a cord to another camera that worked with mine. So here are a few things:

Lovely Bridal card for my sister, Jenny :) You would have died seeing what she GOT at her shower!

I hauled butt over to DI and grabbed some awesome vases and plates to make these beautiful cake stands for the food table for the reception.

I made Jenny's signing pages. I used pretty Black, light green and cream with some black swirly stamps. They turned out pretty cute!

Me and some friends threw a shower for another friend. I made these adorable shower invitations for her. Her nursery colors were pink and orange.

Today is both my friend's birthday and another friend's little boy's birthday. So Happy Birthday cards!
For some reason, i'm not a huge stamp fan but I think I'm starting to like them!

Quick Thank You's

I"ve been wanting to make quick Thank You cards for a bunch of people and the other night I was finally able to get some done! There are a few that are similar but since none of them were going to the same person, I didn't care :) Anways, I hope I can start back up in scrapping soon since the shop seems to be tapering off. Anways, enjoy :)

Stuff

So another baby card I made for the card night. I am really loving my Cricut!! Anyways, I'm just glad I have the time again to make stuff like this :)

K so probably like many of you, ribbon spools are everywhere and make a huge mess! So today, as I was trying to figure out a way to organize them, I thought of this:

I had an extra piece of wood and some dowels so I just hot glued them and whala! I have a ribbon organizer!! Call me corny or whatever but I love it :)
