I have to appeal to your better nature and ask for a favor...again.
I know, I know. I just did this with the Epic Giveaway over at Vintage Revivals just a few short weeks ago. But then they came out with another great contest and I couldn't refuse.
Yes, this is another one of those annoying posts to try to smooze votes out of you guys..
That right there shows you how bad I want to go to SNAP!
So what is SNAP, you ask?
Well it's a "creative blogging and social media conference"
located in Salt Lake City, UT. It will be held in April 2012.
So pretty much creative bloggers..cough like me cough...get together and create and imagine and play and have fun. Can you just imagine?!
This contest is giving away a free ticket to it. It's normally $175. I don't even have $5 to my name...so you can imagine my sheer enthusiasm when I found out I had a chance to win a free ticket.
So why do I deserve a ticket?
ONE: Well I haven't done anything fun like this since i've been married...so it's been almost 7 years...
That is by no means dissing my husband or anything. We just haven't had the funds like that to just throw around.
SECOND: In support of that, I ALONE haven't done anything fun since the kids have been here, so like 5 1/2 years. Kids will do that, you know? And a fun break like this would be so beneficial to my health...because I sometimes I really do feel like i'm going insane...
THIRD: Even as I type, I am bombarded by kids and never get anything done, whether it's for the house or for my creative outlet.
FOURTH: Just the fact that I am writing this right now instead of making food for the kids or cleaning something shows that I NEED this so so bad!!
FIFTH: ALL my family lives in UT. Even my Aunts and uncles on both sides live in UT. I am the only one living over in WA. When do I get to see them?! When do my kids get to play with their cousins?! This would make a perfect excuse to drive me and kids to see family. Then the kids can have a blast playing with other kids while I can go play with other adults!!
SIXTH: And lastly, I am singing on YouTube for this!
So that's my plea. And here's my pathetic plea to you!
I need votes. It takes so fast.
